Booking and cancellation
1: Payment terms and prices
Demand for advance payment is 30% of the total amount in connection with the booking. In the event of non-payment, Hemmingodden Lofoten Fishing Lodge AS is free to cancel the agreement. Notice will be sent in advance of this.
Our prices are stated in NOK. Hemmingodden Lofoten Fishing Lodge AS reserves the right of price changes.
2: Order / Confirmation
The order is binding on both parties. Confirmation is sent after completion of booking. The person/company the order is registered on is financially responsible for the entire order, including any damage that may occur.
3: Cancellation
If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival, the guest will be charged 30% of the total booking.
In case of no-show, the guest will be charged 100% of the total amount of the stay.
4: Illness / Accident
The guest is responsible for costs due to accident or illness during the stay. We, therefore, recommend our guests to get travel insurance in advance of the trip.
5: Accommodation unit
The unit must be inhabited by a maximum of the number of people specified in the description. In the case of exceedance, Hemmingodden Lofoten Fishing Lodge may reject the excess number of people.
The guest is obliged to treat the accommodation and furniture to avoid damage and unnecessary wear and tear. Guest is liable to the owner for loss or damage caused to buildings or fixtures. Noise from the unit, which is a nuisance to neighbours, can lead to eviction.
6: Boat rental and fishing:
When ordering a boat, the customer confirms that he/she has a boat driver test and, or was born before 1980 and has sufficient boat experience to travel on the sea. The guest also confirms that he/she understands the norms, laws and rules associated with travelling at sea.
The guest also confirms that he/she agrees that the maximum quota for tourists to take home is 20 kg of fish fillet. The above points are linked to Norwegian law.
The guest also understands that when renting a boat at Hemmingodden Lofoten Fishing Lodge AS, they represent Hemmingodden Lodge and, therefore, follow the land and sea guidelines.
